Terms of Service

Last updated: October 31, 2026

These terms apply to our website, littlebirdsays.com, and the app at app.littlebirdsays.com, run by We Are Volume LLC, 92 Oak Ridge Road, Greenfield Park, NY 12435, United States (“we”, “us”). By using Little Bird Says you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization, you agree on that organization’s behalf and confirm you’re allowed to.

The service

Little Bird Says is currently free for individuals and organizations. We may introduce paid plans, usage limits, or premium features in the future. Any changes affecting existing users will be communicated in advance. Anonymous feedback submissions will remain free.

Your account

  • You must be 16 or older to use Little Bird Says.
  • Anonymous identity code. Keep it private and somewhere safe. Anyone with it can read and reply in your conversations. We can’t recover a lost code. Sign out when you’re done, especially on a shared or work device. Otherwise you stay signed in on that device for up to about 100 days.
  • Organization accounts. Give a real email address and keep your password secret. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for who you invite into your organization.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Little Bird Says to:

  • threaten, harass, or abuse anyone, post hate speech or content that attacks people for who they are, or encourage violence
  • try to identify an anonymous sender, or help anyone else do so
  • post illegal content, or other people’s private information without a legal right to
  • send spam, or create identities in bulk to get around limits or blocks
  • pretend to be an organization or person you aren’t, or list an organization you don’t represent
  • attack, probe, or overload the service, or get around its security or anti-abuse checks

Content and moderation

You’re responsible for what you write. You keep ownership of it, and you let us store, display and deliver it so the service works.

Organizations can block an anonymous identity from contacting them. We can remove listings, restrict or suspend accounts and organizations, and remove content that breaks these terms or the law. Report impersonation or abuse to support@littlebirdsays.com.

We may report content to the authorities where the law requires it or where someone’s safety is at risk.

Organizations’ responsibilities

Organizations decide how to act on the feedback they receive. Don’t try to identify anonymous senders, or retaliate against anyone you believe sent feedback. Little Bird Says is not an emergency service or a legally protected whistleblowing channel unless your organization has separately arranged for that.

Limits of anonymity

We don’t ask for your name or contact details and work to keep senders anonymous, but no service can guarantee it. Organizations see the date and time of each message, and which location or event code it was sent to. Your employer’s or school’s network, or a device it manages, may record that you visited Little Bird Says. For the most privacy, use a personal device on a personal connection. Anything you write, such as names, dates, or details only you would know, may also identify you.

Legal requests

If the law requires it, we may have to share information we hold, such as messages. We don’t store anonymous senders’ names, contact details, or IP addresses in our database, so we keep as little as we can.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time. To close an organization or delete an account, email support@littlebirdsays.com. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. Conversations are deleted 26 months after their last message, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

You use Little Bird Says at your own risk. The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and secure, but we don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that no one can ever be identified from what they write. Some features rely on third-party services, such as our hosting provider and icon and font providers, which handle requests under their own policies. We’re not responsible for them. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the last 12 months or $100.

Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above and email organization members about significant changes. Using the service afterwards means you accept the new terms.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. Questions: support@littlebirdsays.com.
